Previous owner of my first house planted it all along the back wall. Was fun tearing the siding off my house to get it all out.

That’s hilarious🤣 I planted it in the ground on purpose because I wanted to take over some of the grass areas it smells really nice when I mow it it’s almost impossible to kill
Alternatively, this is why you plant mint in the ground. Imagine having a retaining wall covered in flowers & edible greenery. Every time I harvest from my mint, I trim the cuttings for propagation and plant them elsewhere in the yard.Â

Had a lady that swore we were going to kill her mint when we cut her yard jokes on her you can’t kill it 💀💀💀

I have a miniature anise hyssop. I moved from original location and it went Nuts like this. No amount of pulling contains it.
Slice some cucumber add mint, olive oil balsamic vinegar or a little plain yogurt. Or mince garlic, chili, cillantro, mint, birds eye Chile in food processor and you got an ok chilutney. Harvest and dry mint leaf to a nice tea. There’s a hundred recipes you can use mint with and if you actually use the stuff it’s abundant instead of invasive.

Pulled out some mint today. The roots & rhizomes were no joke.

Oh no, my steak is too juicy and my lobster is too buttery!
Plant it in ground. Same with all the other herbs. Let them get outta hand. Pick them, use them.
Make mojitos, mint tea, or something. Mint is delicious.
I’m not a gardener, nor am I even an outdoors person. I have a black thumb. No, I don’t know why I’m in this sub… something, something, tried to make our property into the most lovely garden ever, hated dealing with any of it, something, something, still in this sub years later. LOL
One thing I’ve most definitely learned though: NEVER PLANT MINT IN THE GROUND. I’m sure that knowledge will come in handy for something at some point, right?

I planted German chamomile in the ground in my garden last year and now I see it all over the place!😅

Haha, I planted mint in my front garden and it is taking over. Joke’s on my landlord, it will be his problem someday! (He deserves it, he doesn’t fix shit)
