That’s a wrap on the 2026 Organic Vegetable Gardening Summit! This video is the finale – a live Q&A and my top 10 gardening hacks with tons of tips, tricks, and ideas. Below I will be adding links to the tools and gear I talked about. You can also find a lot of this on Amazon at my storefront – https://amzn.to/41LjcXv
Also, be sure to check out and enroll now in the full Organic Vegetable Gardening course – https://organicgardeningacademy.com/p/organic-vegetable-gardening
Organic Vegetable Gardening is everything I’ve ever wanted to teach about growing your own food, exactly the way I’ve always wanted to teach it. The course is designed to be a comprehensive guide to planting, growing, nurturing, and harvesting your favorite vegetables: no matter what you love to eat, no matter where you live, no matter your level of gardening experience.
But the real value is that you get lifetime access to all of the course material, entry into the Online Gardening Academy™ community to engage with me and other students of my courses. There’s also live office hours – more Q&A opportunities- and a huge library of past sessions with some of the biggest names in horticulture.
I hope you’ll join me this year and learn to grow food organically!

I have a vole and shrew issue started 2 years ago. We have only been able to trap shrews. I know shrews are insectivores but I believe they are eating plants also.
Last year we lost a whole row of potatoes and some spring bulbs and this year so far they destroyed 2 large patches of Siberian Irises.
I need a solution to eliminate without poisons. Buying deterrents and hardware cloth for such a large area is not a solution. I have some castor oil I can try as that is an irritant for voles, but they both have to go!
What would you do if they invade those compost piles and garden as they love them? I can’t garden without mulch with sandy soil. Do you know the trick to trapping voles. We cover the traps because of birds and these vermin don’t like open areas. Because of winter I need to mulch plants from cold.
It’s a dilemma I’ve never had before and they are stealing the joy of gardening.
Thanks for any info I can use and hope you never get this problem.
Great information all four days! Thank you so much!
20:00 I know I've said it before… I just LOVE my 25 cattle panels on our 1/4 acre urban property. There is just so much that can be done with them!
Tub Truggs… I like 5 gallon buckets… I have a nearly unlimited supply of free ones around me all the time.
Great list of hacks! Love it Joe! I also looked through the chat replay… you had some good peeps in there. Sorry I missed this one!
