“Inspired Gardens” is the theme for the Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society’s annual garden tour, to be held April 25 and 26.

This year’s tour features six private gardens, with an emphasis on a variety of garden space, from conserving hillsides and using drought-tolerant and nativeplantings, to using locally grown vegetables and decorative yard art, according to a news release from the Redlands Horticultural and Improvement Society.

The gardens feature raised beds, vines, succulents, rose gardens, salvias, lavenders, iris, wildflowers, rock walls and fruit trees.
