Hey everyone. Total noob here. This is my only houseplant. It sits in my kitchen and gets light pretty much all day. I water on a semi-frequent basis with the squirt bottle to get the soil moist and the leaves some direct water.
It has had curled/browning/dying leaves for a while now. I’ve tried bottom watering but no dice. Any help is much appreciated.

You’re going to want to change the soil to something with more amendments. Like a bunch of perlite. So it has some drainage. The soil looks very dense and will suffocate the plant. Also when you water you’ll want to do more than just spray the soil. Water thoroughly until water drains through the bottom and toss excess water from drip tray. Basically you’ll want a bit chunkier soil, water thoroughly, but water only when soil is dry (an estimate of once a week) but stick a chopstick in the soil to check. If dry water if wet wait longer.
