I don't know what this is and how it appeared, but it suddenly did.
I first thought the stem popped after I gave too much water, but I'm not sure.

That’s a new leaf! Not a split stem! Congratulations!

That’s just a new leaf unfurling from the sheath. If you look at the older stem petioles, you’ll see brownish dry ‘lines’ to either side, those are the old ones where the leaf & stem above it emerged
It’s an impacted leaf! It’s trying to grow out, but the membrane didn’t split and now it’s stuck. If you split it carefully for it, it will grow into a normal leaf. If not I’m not entirely sure, but it will end up losing circulation I believe
