I was told this was combine, but it doesn’t look quite the same to me and I am at a loss. Zone 6. Got it from my father-in-law and it was apparently something he planted once upon a time.

You guys. He has given me like five other things and told me they were one thing when they are clearly another thing. He gave me Solomon’s seals and told me they were hosta lilies, which isn’t even a thing. Anyway thank you so much for your help.

Looks like a perennial geranium, like Johnson’s Blue (I think thats the name).
