Hello, I’ve had this Thai con for a long time now but the leaf growth is very, very slow. It seems it’s always working on root growth. Admittedly the last 6ish months I’ve neglected it (thank god it didn’t rot lmao) but even before that it seemed that the only time I’d get new leaf growth is when I potted up?? Admittedly I should give it a moss pole, but I’ve never used one before and am scared to kill my Thai con (it’s my last living plant from my now eradicated collection) any advice??

It is time.
She’s practically begging for a moss pole to climb!I’d recommend the D shaped ones you assemble yourself as long as you can keep it moist. Monsteras love to climb trees and she looks like she’s in the perfect condition to repot her with a pole.

Yes! And give it something to climb! The picture you posted should work. If you need help, Kill this Plant on YouTube is a fan favorite. He’ll show you how to repot and make it so it’s kinda “leaning back” instead of falling forwards like it looks in your last photo
Yes.

Technically the root ball on that is small. I wouldnt have potted up. The aerial root is what is taking up space in the pot.
I use these. They are way better for the plant to climb on because it allows the roots support the plant.

Edit: you can keep adding them as the plant gets larger
