Planted a small Quercus hypoleucoides today in south central OK 7a/7b (this was a quart to maybe half gallon container plant). The base as you see it is the level it was at in the container, but it looks odd to me and I'm honestly not entirely sure what I'm looking at. Does it need to be a bit deeper? I can pop it out and get it a little deeper and put some soil around those roots if needed
