Hello friends! We moved into my husband’s childhood home last summer after the sad passing of his parents over the years. They said that this was a cherry tree – we know that the other two next to it are peach. Since we ate from them 🤤🤣

I don’t think it’s self pollinating since I have never seen fruit on it, just blossoms. They are gone and there is no one to ask about variety….

Any suggestions on what variety to plant near it to try to get cherries??? Thank you!!!🙏🏼

    Some cherry trees cultivars are sterile and purely for the blooms

    Lots of cherries are grown for the flower and not the fruit. Once this flowers it will be much easier to tell you what kind of cherry it is.
