Creative 360 will host “Art + Flowers: A Special Exhibition Pairing Fine Art & Floral Design,” from noon to 3 p.m. on Thursday, April 16. The event is a project of The Little Garden Club and will feature original art and floral designs, demonstrations, prizes, refreshments and more at Creative 360.
Since 1940, the Little Garden Club has cultivated a legacy of sharing floral beauty with the community. This tradition of service deepened in 1952 when the club committed to providing a weekly arrangement for a local business, a custom that continues today. Since the summer of 2024, Creative 360 has served as the home for these donated floral displays.
“We are honored to host The Little Garden Club for this special event,” curator Colleen Reed said. “This exhibition is a sensory conversation, where the fine arts meet the living, breathing artistry of floral design.”
Inspirational art for the event includes work by Valerie Allen, Cindy Bancroft, Marti Liddle-Lameti, Ivan Lysenko, Alan Maciag, Armin Mersmann, Barbara Meyer, Annie Stout, Gracie Thompson, Jan Wegner and Jan Young.
Florists creating the designs include Elaine Crewes, Chris Furst, Laura Hahn, Sandy Juengel, Carol Peck, Cynthia Rand, Marcia Streeter, Karen Thams, Hannah Tiffin, Kim White, Marilyn Wildes and Jan Young.
The event is open to the public at no charge. Many of the pieces are available for purchase. Admission to the Creative 360 galleries is always free and the arts non-profit is grateful for donations that allow this practice. Pre-registration is not required.
