Hey everyone! I have had this pothos in my fish tank for around 5 years and it is very well established in the gravel and thriving!!! ( probably 3 feet long roots under there) I plan on tearing the tank down though, so I’m wondering if there is any chance it would survive being transplanted into dirt? Let me know, thanks!

Yeah it would! It would probably stop growing for a bit while it replaces its water roots with soil roots though

  2. Or you could transition it into hydro/semi hydro in leca. Just remember to fertilize occasionally because the fish won’t be there anymore.

  3. Those look great. The ones I put in my tank turned yellow. Then the next three leaves came in bigger than my hand. They get tons of light though. No advice here, just appreciation!!

I think you’d have better luck with a water vase honestly but like first comment said, it might be sad at first but it will transition to growing in soil
