The first one I think is creeping Charlie aka ground ivy but I’m unsure. If so, sounds like it’s a foe since not native to Texas or the U.S. in general. Not sure about the second one

Carolina bristlemallow maybe?
The first one has tiny flowers that remind me of some kind if mallow plant.
2nd one is Mat Amaranth. I’d pull it.
