Spring has finally arrived, bringing longer days, warmer weather and that first real stretch of sunshine. While the height of summer is still on its way, it’s enough to get you thinking about giving your outdoor space a bit of attention. Whether you’re an avid gardener with tools, pots and other bits and bobs to store, or simply looking for somewhere to keep garden furniture cushions and accessories safe from unpredictable showers, a garden storage box is a smart solution.

And right now is the perfect moment to get ahead of the rush, as plenty of brands are running seasonal sales, meaning you can upgrade your garden while saving a bit of money too.

Christow’s Waterproof Garden Storage Box has already caught the attention of shoppers, with some describing it as “good value for money,” and it’s even more appealing at the moment. Originally priced at £79.99, the storage box has been reduced to just £50.99 as part of the brand’s seasonal sale.

In a review, one shopper said: “Good value for money. Good to look at and easy to put together.”

Another said: “Great box, sturdy and easy to assemble.”

Measuring 49cm x 96cm x 45.8cm, it offers a storage capacity of 190 litres, making it a versatile option for all sorts of outdoor essentials, whether that’s bird feed, outdoor cushions, potting tools, small toys or other belongings you’d rather not leave exposed to the elements.

In a review, one shopper said: “Exactly what I wanted. I keep my birdseed and suet in there, and it is ideal.”

Another added: “Good size for storing wellies, small outdoor toys.”

Another shopper said: “It arrived quickly, was a good price, easy to assemble and is now being used to store my sun lounger cushions.”

One of the standout features of the box is its construction. It is made from hardwearing polypropylene and includes a ventilated lid, which Christow says is waterproof while also helping to protect contents from damp and mould. The lid locks into place for added security with a hasp and staple lock, although it does not come with a padlock included.

The storage box also has durable aluminium sliding lifts. While it does require self-assembly, the only tool you’ll need is a screwdriver, and most reviewers say it’s straightforward to put together.

However, it’s worth noting that the storage box does not double up as a seat. One shopper also mentioned that it is a little lighter than they expected, too.
