I started composting after March 27th. I stumbled across a cool video on YouTube simplifying compost. (I thought it was way way WAY more sofisticated my entire life so I never tried it)

My grandfather left an old 1975-1985 ( specific year unknown, and hadn't been used in many years) wood chipper. I'm not mechanically inclined AT ALL, but I was determined to get it working. Changed some parts out, cleaned it up BOOM it fired up like a dream come true!

Had a buncha fallen timber, ground that stuff down, made a huge pile, started mixing greens in, watering. Nothing was making the pile more than 90-100°

Realized I really needed way more greens. So the rainfall has blessed us and we now have a ton of grass and weeds in our field. Grabbed the mower/bagger and went to town. Mixed it all up and it's perfect!
