Help! There’s a frog living in my Fiddle

There's a frog living in the soil when I purchased it. Is it bad for my plant? If not I want to keep him.

Additional note: my fiddle's leaves went all dry due to extreme temp. It's only a single branch now. I hope he'll still survive TT
