As much as I hate HD, this is 100% on the grower.

could be worse, I once saw a street vendor in a half developed country selling actual chicks and ducklings dyed like this, pink and blue and green. I watched children buy a couple and he dropped them in a plastic bag like toys. Real live birds. This seems like a minor and mostly aesthetic sin

That doesn’t bother me nearly as much as the glow fish tetras. That really bothers me seeing them at the aquariums. But seriously, all nature is beautiful, let’s just leave them be! There’s plenty of brightly colored plants, no need for artificial coloring that harms their photosynthesis. Ugh. Humans. 😒

Whenever i see these i always think who would even want this its so hideous!
I haven’t had these gifted yet but I was gifted a lemon cypress that was flocked.
Also infested with mealies so I tossed it in the trash ~WHOOPS~
The fact that the sign says it doesn’t harm the plant is the real icing on the cake….

Some people like it, see an empty holes in a tray? That is why HD brings them in.
