background: my sister and her kids rescued Bindi (my dragon) from a couple that couldn't care for her anymore, then sister and co got bored and gave her to me. the first owners had done everything wrong: repticarpet, those twine ladder things, uvb coil, etc. I upgraded to vivarium with 70/30 topsoil/playsand mix, isopods and springtails on cool side, etc. Hot side is left, cool side right. I made sure all plants are beardie-safe. Because I dont have another place to keep her while foam and glue cures/sets I couldn't do the custom backdrop i would want. Anything stand out here that needs changed or relocated? I'm monitoring temps/humidity, so far its all looking good

  1. Idk about bearded dragons, but it looks amazing aside from any specific husbandry needs. Not too cluttered that you lose the detail, but with plenty of stuff for them to get up and around. Best of luck with your new friend!

This looks incredible dude well done!! Beardies are one of the most neglected reptiles in my opinion when it comes to proper care, and this kind of terrarium should be the standard.

The ONLY things I would maybe suggest is moving the heat lamps and UVB all the way to the left so they sit directly above the rock. I assume that’s the intended basking spot? The rock will absorb the heat better than the log 🙂 And the other one is just keep an eye on the dragon and the plastic vine plant in the back. They like to nibble as I’m sure you’ve learned lol.
