Took us about three weekends- the most difficult part was piecing it all together since no two windows were exactly the same. It’s working great for all the seedlings and young plants so far 🌱

Beautiful! I have a cache of wood framed windows I’ve collected on marketplace and hope to build something like this soon. What did you use for your roof?

How did you guys go about sourcing the old windows and doors, we have a Re-store by Habitat for humanity near us where they sell old doors and windows but they still want so much for them.

  4. Only the greenhouse of my dreams no big deal

Awesome work you did there! This feels genuinely like a r/solarpunk project.

I used to work in carpentry and we tossed so many old windows. I have since thought it would have been so cool to keep some of those and do something like this. Very cool!
