I have the same thing right now and I’m hopeful the momma will return. She built a nest in my catnip plant and laid eggs before I could move the plant to a better location and now I’m afraid if I change it, she won’t come back at all. I never knew birds would burrow into a plant like this to build a nest, how cool!

I can’t tell the color well, but I know dark eyed juncos have pink eggs and often nest in planters.
