If you cut it, that will definitely send more energy into those emerging pups (which looks awesome) and give them all the open space needed. You will also have a clone that you can root, graft to it, sell it, or gift it to someone. If you don’t cut it, they will be just fine too. They will eventually push that larger piece out of the way. Ultimately, it really just depends on if you don’t mind seeing a section that was cut, or not.

Why not, I’d cut it closer to the base though. You get more pups from a thick base.
