This is a lemon tree I was given 6 months ago. I got 5 lemons off of it through the winter (zone 6b), Inside under a grow light. I want to prune it before this coming summer season. I do not think it was pruned ever in the 5-6 years prior to me receiving it. I already pruned a lot of the “dead” woody branches; and wanted to ask where else I should prune To give it better shape/energy? I know the picture is somewhat difficult to see all the branches… but any help would be greatly appreciated!

It has like 5 leaves. If you prune anything there will be nothing left lol. Prune when it’s full, healthy and growing too high or wide
It doesn’t look like there is enough substance to be pruned on this tree. Maybe change the soil instead to give it more energy? Not an expert though
