I live in the subtropics of NENSW and tried up the back last year, but it gets blasted by afternoon sun so they didn’t do very well. I’m going to try out the front now amongst the marigolds as it gets morning sun and dappled shade in the afternoons.. I spent a small fortune (not really but 😮‍💨) on good quality A grade corms (you can see two big ones in the first pic amongst the tiny bunnings ones so hopefully they like it here 🙏

I’m just not sure if it’s an ideal spot, or if I can leave them in the soil year round like I can dahlias? Any tips appreciated.

I planted some daffodils too but I knooooow those are a pipe dream in this climate 😂😭
