I’ve only started pollinating this year so I’m not an expert but I think that dry first one is a fail, however the ons after it that have green opening star shapes are for sure successes and will eventually split open and you’ll see tiny little brown clusters of seeds inside
You can buy small cheap brushes in bulk on Amazon like 100+ for $10 for example and they seem to work ok.
