I have this very large pine tree (not sure exactly what type) near my house and over my shed in the backyard. It’s beautiful and I feel lucky that it’s in my yard. However, over the last couple months it has been constantly creaking louder and louder. My concern is that it may be a sign that the tree is unstable or some large branches may fall down either on my shed, the neighbors fence or even one of our houses.
Should I be worried about the loud and constant creaking? I’d prefer to just let it do its thing, but if for safety reasons I need to trim or cut it I would do that. Do you think based on the pics it looks healthy and is the creaking normal?

This needs an in person inspection but I can see at least one rubbing branch in the photos that is likely the cause of the noise. Pruning it would help with the health of the tree and stop the noise. Tree looks healthy but call a certified arborist to look at it.
White pine. Multi stem trees can be more prone to issues
White pines can be perfectly healthy and still have big pieces or trunks snap in a strong wind, happens frequently in my neighborhood. I’d not want one in my yard in falling distance of something valuable.
