I want to irrigate the garden bed that runs along my driveway. The problem is my two taps are across a sea of concrete and lower than the bed to be irrigated. One tap is closer to the level of the driveway, but quite a distance from the one gravel channel that cuts across the driveway to the garden bed. The other tap is much lower than the driveway, so the water would have to move through vertical tubing twice (which I assume is an issue?).
Which approach would you recommend taking? In the past, I have just used a soaker hose, but I really need something set and forget on a timer, if possible.

You could use a demo saw to widen one of the joints in the slab so you can run 19mm poly pipe through, and then fill with sand. I used to work in irrigation maintenance and that did the trick for me 🙂 you can hire a demo saw on a trolley so you can get a neat cut.
Vertical runs won’t be an issue to that height.

Something like this there are plenty of different versions available.
