I started gardening this year and planted a handful of seeds to start indoors, using grow lights. Most of my plants grew fine (tomatoes, onions, herbs), but my peppers have been struggling. I planted them 2 months ago and they germinated after 2 weeks, so for 6-7 weeks of growth they just seem very small. My tomatoes on the other hand are like 15” tall already and I’m struggling to find room for them.

First picture is them today, and the second picture was 1 month ago when they were still in their starter cells a few days before I potted up. 3rd picture is a current plant with a closer shot. I have tried more water, less water, increasing humidity, increasing temperature (got my room to 80F for a few days, normally it’s 70-75F), and I’ve tried adding veggie and tomato food at 1/4-1/2 strength 2 or 3 times.

Really at a loss here so any ideas of my current issue would be great.

You started your tomatoes way too early. Also peppers grow slow unless they are in a continuous warm place. They have true leaves so they are growing. What is your grow medium? I am in zone 5 and I started my peppers in January and they go outside the beginning of may.

You could always switch out the soil. Peppers transplant well.

I’ve had problems in the past growing peppers in clear cups I only use non-clear ones now. Pepper Roots don’t really like that much light.
