The roof vent/windows in my new greenhouse are very hard to open and close. How can I modify them to make them easier? Currently it's just a thin metal rod with a tiny handle that has to be pushed through the hole far enough that the bend in the metal will hold it open. I was thinking maybe a tennis ball or something on the end to make it easier to hold? I'm not super tool savvy but someone has to have a creative idea. (Photos show it open & closed)
