Loving it❤
I love that you talk fast. Squeeze in all that great info.
Hi quick question I just bought a 10 gallon weeping blue atlas cedar from Home Depot for $130 so can I keep him small like a 7 footer? Instead letting it grow? Thanks
Good Grief!!
No Home Depot or Lowe’s ever has this much plant inventory or selection here in the Denver area. I’m so jealous!!
Always a good choice and everything looks beautiful and healthy 🥰
I am also in New England, but you must be in a much warmer, and probably larger area. Our Home Depot DID just get some evergreens in, and there was one load of hellebores that they left in their outer area overnight and they got severely frost damaged. Otherwise, there is nothing there, yet – and even last summer, at the height of the growing season, there was not a lot to choose from. I’ve only lived here a year, and moving from a more urban area in Wisconsin to Maine was a bit of a shock on how much less the Home Depot carries.
Hi Steph! Wow, great prices on the trees! I love English daisies but the rabbits eat them to the ground. Great for a container though.
My Home Depot is 40 miles away so I don’t get there very often. Might go into town tomorrow and check it out!
I got some great hellebore at Home Depot last week after watching your last video. And you still crack me up the way you say tulips like TULUPS. HAHA!
💐🪴👍🏻💐🪴
hi steph, thanks for the tour. some really nice finds. this type of video is very helpful to me. i know what i want to go for. thanks for sharing. hope you have a great day.
All the tulip trees in my zone 7b in Tennessee bloom in early spring. Great video! Thank you
My Home Depo doesn't have as much as yours dose
.In west Virginia. Enjoy the video 😊
The prices on those trees are great! I would grab a cpl of them, the Hanoki cypress and the redbud, and the redbud, was it flame thrower ? I’ll have to watch again to catch the name! I love these videos! Thank you so much for sharing with us! 😊♥️
Japanese Pieris – I highly recommend. Not fussy, low, low maintenance and the wildlife are not interested in nibbling. I have many throughout my garden.
I just visited the Lowe's closest to me in Franklin KY for their great sale on garden soil but their flowers are few and far between right now at least. Your stores up there have better flowers and it's still like winter. Here we are in the 80's already.
Steff great video thanks for the info! I had gone to Home Depot
Looking for the white bleeding hearts but they were sold out but I managed to find some at Walmart! I had heard about them last year but couldn’t find any. I’m hoping they are as pretty as their picture.
So lucky at your Home Depot!! I’m north of Boston and nothing like yours, so disappointing.
It was a nice video with lots of good ideas! Thanks Steph!🌹
Knockout Roses will appreciate some afternoon shade in hot and humid climates. I’m Southeast zone 8a and had to move three of mine bc they were getting scorched in afternoon sun.
Steph, i absolutely love your big box walk throughs. Im so excited😊❤.
Hi Steph. Nice choice! I want another Hinoki! 🤩 and I did pick up a Queen Elizabeth rose last fall, in honor of my Mom (Elizabeth and a Queen 😉😊💝). I can’t wait to have it bloom. Everything is waking up in the garden, I just LOVE Spring! 💚
Hi Steph! I'm in the market for a new small tree for our front yard. Thanks for taking us along for some inspiration!
English daisies did not come back for us in central CT, 6a/b
Your prices are amazing.. they are not that low here in Montana
I’m looking for pear trees. I love that Eastern Redbud. Great video.❤❤❤
I enjoyed your tour of Home Depot, please do a few more through out the spring and summer.I like to support my local nurserys, and do but I appreciate Home Depots prices. Fan In Bozeman, MT.
Thanks for the info . I am looking for a cold hardy Japanese maple I can put in a large container
Roses love anything dead fish. Fish fertilizer, fish guts, or a dead fish placed at the base
I’ve checked my HD x2 for the Hynoki Wells Special, unfortunately without success. I did score 2 beautiful hellebores. Thx for sharing!
wow that's an awesome price for that redbud. it got one last year for 100 at lowes. I'll have to keep an eye out for one there.
Hi Steph 🌺. A wonderful tour of Home Depot Garden Center. All the plants, shrubs, and trees are amazing in color. Beautiful roses and clematis. Happy Easter to you and your family. 🌿🌺🌻🌷🌻🌺🌿
I’ve tried those English daisies and they’re not very hardy for me, not even lasting the whole season in containers.
They are so expensive. I can’t even afford one.
Steph, I am close by and would appreciate knowing which Home Depot you frequent. By the way went to Briggs after you taped your visit last year and loved it. Thanks for sharing so much with all your followers.
What can I plant under redwoods? Ground cover or plant suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi Steph, where is this home depot?
My Home Depot mostly had dianthus we found a few other plants but it was mostly dianthus I bought a beautiful begonia in butter yellow color and a yellow Dahlia we found a beautiful shade of pink gerber daisy 🌼 that my son paired with some sweet potato vine I don’t remember what the red one we have and lastly we found the most beautiful sherbet pink and peach color petunia I don’t usually buy petunias but this lady had to come home she was gorgeous and I for got about candy tuft we also bought
I’m going to have to go back and find the English daisy 🌼 that’s gorgeous would that be considered a double bloom? I tend to be attracted to double blooming flowers
My two quince that I planted last fall bloomed beautifully about a week ago. I took a picture to send to my sister. Thank goodness I did because the door feasted on them that night. So if anyone is wondering – deer love the quince flowers. But they were beautiful for a short while.
I love english daisies. I plant by seed though. So much more affordable. You can direct sow in early spring (so now). I direct sow them under my crepe myrtle trees. The trees have not leafed out yet so the seeds germinate well (need light to germinate). Then they get some protection from sun in my zone 8 when the trees leaf out. Deer dont touch them in my garden.
FYI..I have the English Daisies in my garden, the bunnies love them …sad face
Hi Steph, I have successfully overwintered Hellebore, Bellis Daisy, and the Primulas from the grocery store in Zone 4 (mulch with some peat moss and leaves). Your video got me excited for this year's gardening, thanks.
Rabbits WILL munch on pieris.
Went after the Flame Thrower Redbud after the Lowes inventory video and they didn't have them here.. will now try Home Depot! That is quite a bit cheaper too!
Wish box stores had better selection of plants for shade.
Good morning I’m rewatching the video where you planted around the well head. I could really use some guidance on planting around my septic field. I want to hide the openings and looked into the company from the well video. I’m just not sure what is safe to plant around them. I so want a Ginko tree but will have to find another place for it.
