A few weeks ago my crossvine was just entering peak bloom when the freeze hit and all the blossoms and even the new growth died. Since then it has staged a comeback and is putting on a show nearly as good as the first time! I was so bitter thinking I'd have to wait a year to see it, but it pushed through.

Awww your little dog is standing in it’s favorite spot. Crossvine looks great!
I found that crossvine is sensitive to which direction it faces. Mine grew nicely for a couple of years on a trellis near a fence, then climbed over it onto my neighbor’s side. Then it only bloomed on their side.
