NEW HANOVER COUNTY, N.C. (WECT) – The New Hanover County Arboretum and North Carolina Cooperative Extension is holding a four-day plant sale next week.

This year’s Master Gardener Plant Sale will feature various plants native to southeastern North Carolina, and over 8,000 plant varieties will be for sale, including:

AnnualsPerennialsHerbs/veggiesAzaleasJapanese MaplesShrubs

Attendees also have the opportunity to participate in a free seed exchange and attend an expert talk on Japanese Maple care and pruning.

Master Gardener volunteers and Extension staff will be on-site to offer guidance on plant selections and to help move plants to vehicles

The plant sale is scheduled for Thursday, April 16, through Sunday, April 19. It will be open 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
