We planted a prunus Cerasifera Nigra 3 weeks ago and our cat has sadly taken to climbing it. As you can see, last night she struggled to get down and really tore up the trunk. Plan is to get a trunk guard to protect it from now on, but is there anything we can do to protect it from disease related to this damage? Do you reckon it’ll be fine?
