Hi everyone, I’m having these white colour mushroom popping up in my
lawn and the black colour thing (I think it’s a type of mushroom too) in my garden bed. Is, just hand pulling them enough, or do I have to do anything else to stop them popping up? Thank you.

just leave them, no? they don’t last that long
mushrooms are a sign of healthy soil. the mushrooms you see popping out of the ground are the fruiting body of the mycelium, they’re spreading their spores. leave them to do their thing.
What about if I have a dog that has free roam of my backyard?
Normally mushrooms don’t take over like weeds. The occasional mushroom is very good for your garden and a good sign. Don’t rip them. They come and go naturally.
They’re a sign that your soil is healthy.
You take a photo of them and show all of your friends and thank the universe for living in a healthy habitat with good soil.
Pee on them. No reason really, sometimes I just enjoy the sweet release in nature as god intended
Beef Wellington
Make them into beef Wellington
What is wrong with them being left as they are? They’ll come and go. They assist in soil health and one of the things in your garden that break down matter.
Another thing to do is post pics in mushroom groups, get an identification and learn more about them!
Assess how much damage they will actually do. Will you still be feeling it 2 years from now?
Mushrooms are how dead wood turns back into soil
Brazilian mushrooms
Imagine being lucky enough to have birds nests growing in your garden and you want to get rid of them 😭
I love mushrooms so I’m very jealous of you haha
As others have said, they’re good and a sign of good soil – they cannot harm you or your pets unless ingested so they truely are ok to leave grow
Leave them, they are good for the soil.
It’s because you mulch is breaking down
The only way I know: turn off the rain… I’m still looking into how to control that. 😉
Seriously though, they will pop up occasionally when the conditions are just right. Don’t eat them and you should be fine.
There are actually some pretty cool little guys around – one of my kids had an app to track which species she finds in our yard and some of them are amazing – the colours, textures, shapes and sizes are wild, and some can even pop up, grow and change shape and die off with their whole (visible) lifespan completed in 24hrs. Any some of them are so intricate with their teeny frills underneath. Just a nifty little surprise part of your garden habitat.
I tell my children that this means the fairies are present and it’s a huge blessing for the garden! The fairies have arrived and are happy!
Heavy cream and a pinch of salt and pepper. Simmer until soft.
make a succulent Chinese meal
They aren’t taking up all that mush room
Make a Beef Wellington for the family, heard mushrooms goes well with it
Wtf? Leave them alone
another sign we need more ecology and biodiversity studies in schools. leave them there.
These are everywhere in my yard atm
Leave them be. Best advice for anything that is poisonous or venomous.
Easy.. chop them up and put them in a beef Wellington
Give them to erin patterson and she can cook something up.
Beef Wellington?
Eat em !!
I think they’re awesome. I love it when mushrooms sprout up
Put them in a beef Wellington.
The first ones, the tiny cups are a Cyathus sp, welcome them, they are breaking down the organic matter and turning it into food for your plants.
