I just purchased a property with 4 large trees on it. The driveway is between two trees that slightly overhang it. I planned on having them trimmed so branches don’t fall on my car. The third three is right next to the house and is overhanging the new roof. I plan to cut that one completely down since it leans towards the in-law suit. The 4th tree is between two sheds and I plan to cut it down as well.
I’ve had three quotes done and 2 of the contractors insist all 4 trees need to come down as they’re all “dying”. I’m looking for opinions or advice on what to do. I’d hate to cut down a healthy tree for no reason (the two that are on the side of my driveway). Thank you.

Impossible to tell the health of the trees. They could still be dormant from the winter. Or they could be stone cold dead. No way to tell based on the information provided.
Pictures 3 and 4 do show some branches without tiny twigs, so I might assume those branches are dead.
If your quotes were NOT performed by a Certified Arborist (https://www.treesaregood.org/findanarborist), get a quote from one.
Harder to tell with no leaves but the lack of fine branches in large parts of the crowns is concerning at first glance. Check the base for obvious signs of disturbed bark or decay. An arborist would be able to give you real advice, find a TRAQ certified one, not a wood cutterp
As an enthusiast, I can offer some observations. The presence of numerous twigs and limbs scattered across the ground, which varies by species, appears to be excessive. Additionally, several main “pillar” limbs lack any twigs or smaller branches. While it would be premature to conclude that the trees are in decline, I would recommend a thorough assessment by an ISA-certified arborist with a Tree Risk Assessment Qualification (TRAQ).
