Hey just after some quick advice. Im trying to get this trellis covered by some sort of greenery for privacy from the neighbours. I planted this star jasmine a couple of years ago and it has grown maybe 10cm in 2 years. Unfortunately the spot gets very little direct sunlight so im thinking of repotting with english/german ivy. Currently water twice a week in summer and once a week in winter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! (Also don’t mind the paint tins was just trying to raise it so it would get more sun)

aside from the lack of light, those containers are pretty small

No direct light looks like it’s too shady

There’s not enough sun. It might be worth considering using one of those brushwood fence panels as a backing to give immediate privacy.

Plant for the conditions. Star jasmine needs sun. Bleeding heart vine would likely do better here.

I can’t get past the paint tins to hold the planters up! 😂

They’re slow to develop initially, but as others say, more sun, bigger pots required.

I think it’s poor potting mix, lack of nutrients, and shallow container that wouldn’t hold water well. Star Jasmine is actually quite tolerant of low light.
