Hello, we have an Opuntia in a large pot and it was growing well, as they do. South facing London Uk back garden, covered in winter. A couple of years ago I noticed the start of marks on the pads, and last year it didn’t really grow many (1 or 2) new pads, when typically they push out loads. This coincided with me noticing lots of ants near the bottom drainage hole. And they’re there again. Would they be the cause of the damage and lack of growth?
