Got a little garter snake trio moving in soon. I dont have a ton of space for more plants, but feel like it could use a bit more ground cover at least. I feel like i suck at choosing plants that look good together, so looking for some advice!

Doesn’t matter, fittonia (nerve plant) comes in red pink and white. Grows bushy easily propagated if put it at top left
Tradescantia comes in many varieties (my favorite gets near black) it’s a vine. I would put one on the remaining bottom and one at the top and wrap it around the branches as they grow
Edit looks like you already have some on the bottoms left, I’d pot it right above and add leaf litter your snake will love
