I have St. Augustine at my lawn.

However, I recently see some patch of grass grow faster, taller, and longer thần usual.

Are these weed? And how should I deal with it.

I am new to lawn care so please guide me.

Pull it up, if it’s allowed to seed you might as well give up.

Saint Augustine doesn’t spread by sprouting seeds like some grasses do, it creates “runners” which sprout roots and create networks of new blades. This is why you can’t buy St. Augustine seeds, and have to fill in patches either with sod, plugs, or transplant healthy runners.
