I love these Pulsatilla vulgaris (here in a Richard Miers Garden Design clients garden in Norfolk). Such beautiful purple, with a touch of pink, flowers and ferny foliage. They come out in early Spring which is why one of it’s common names is the Pasque flower (Passover and Easter) and the plumed seed heads, lasting into the summer, are just as enthralling too.
