The two others here seem to think it’s an isopod, but I’m not sure. Doesn’t it have some sort of tail? OP can you tell if it had a tail? Or does its front roughly look the same as its back?

I’m not seeing aquatic isopod here. More photos might help. It sort of looks like a larval water penny beetle but I’m not certain, the back(?) end is off.
