Greetings everyone,

How can we hang lights from these slanted uprights? The red square is the approximate location we want to hang the lights. We think the frame is made from 1/2" plastic tubes. Is there some kind of greenhouse clamp hanger that would not slide down the tubes? Thanks for your suggestions.

My first thought was strips of lights you could secure onto the bars.

Unless these are heavy lights, just use whatever and if whatever doesn’t have enough friction, use another one or two whatevers.

Like, I would do this job with zip ties and use a wrap of gaffers tape (hockey stick wrap, old timey first aid tape, just something with a texture) to mark where the line of light fixtures will go. The tape should be enough friction to keep the lights in place even with that slope.

If that’s too ghetto, or I was doing the job for someone else, or this is going to be a semi-permanent thing, maybe I might upgrade to hose clamps.

I have a similar set up. I took duct tape and string to make a simple cross bar where you’ve indicated for lights to sit. Run the string then tape the loops around the bars to keep the line taught.
