Wow! I have never heard of those blocks!! Absolutely heading to Home Depot or Lowes this weekend to buy some!! Thank you so much for doing this great video!!!
We made a flower bed out of those blocks and it's lasted 5 + years and still going strong. There are holes in the center of the blocks that you can hammer some rebar etc to strengthen the corners and keep them together so you can stack and they won't shift. We love them!
Oooooh…..i hope that wasn't fresh chicken manure. Grandma always said it was hot. Meaning it had to sit out or compost for at least 3 months to keep from burning your plants. Minimally, it is high in nitrogen.
I made a similar video and thank you for explaining that no one on this here Tube has to eat your produce 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 I wish people understood that we are sharing in hopes of peaking interest and sharing ideas… so thank you @peregoyHomestead

My husband and I made ours this exact way and we put rebar down the holes of those blocks. Ours were kind of moving a bit after we put the dirt in.
Cardboard at the bottom better, logs, twigs, leaves, compost and soil with all that will smother out the grass. Cardboard is biodegradable
Great idea! Thank you!

Those corner stones make great cantilever umbrella and hammock frame weights once you decide to convert to wood post raised beds. 😉
Love the concrete blocks. I grow my own food to keep chemicals out of my body. I use cedar and cardboard.
The lining with plastic is horrible. Use cardboard.
Those code inspectors ❤❤❤
❤❤❤new subscriber I love it ❤
Pressure treated has not used toxic chemicals for years. It now uses a copper-based product, not arsenic. This hasnt been used since 2003
Great idea

You’re getting poison from the treated timber… look at using heart wood instead
I learned this at home depot years ago it worked great
Love it ❤🎉
Treated lumber isn't toxic anymore. It is treated with a copper based solution.
Never heard of those blocks… I see a new bed in my future! Thank you!!❤
Treated lumber is God arsenic in it.
Used these for a small garden. Works perfectly.
We have been tossing the idea of which way to do it. This way is easy and perfect thank you

Can you do a design for someone who has an issue with bending down and up and not have to use a bunch of those blocks
I love it

I would think chicken litter would be too hot, unless it's old?
