That’s a lovely patch!! I had 2 volunteer violets pop up this year. Super excited because I know the previous owners were devoted lawn care/weed killer people.

My neighbor has violets and I’m tempted to ask if I can have a few. I’m sure he will accept my proposal of violet removal since he’s unfortunately a lawn guy.

They are pesky lil guys to get rid of.. I’ve tried lol but at least they are useful to some pollinators.
