The shoebox is a clever idea.
I like the shoebox idea because they store neater in my basement.
I just put mine in a regular cardboard box, no soil, peat, or bags, just put them in the box and put in a cool dark place like the basement. In the spring they will be ready to go
confused by the dry part. Why store in a dry place and then mist? Or even store in a plastic bag which holds moisture.
