I’ve had this jalapeño plant for close to a year now, when I bought it, it was already fully grown and producing some fruit albeit small. I trimmed it for the winter and it’s been growing back and I just wanna make sure it’s not stunted or anything so I can let a couple peppers grow, also I’m wondering if the pot is a decent size for this jalapeño plant, as I initially thought the pot could potentially be too large. I water it fairly thoroughly and I just gave it fertilizer (non soluble) for the second time, I’ve been using tomato and vegetable fertilizer because I can’t find pepper specific, and it was cheap cheaper than buying all of the stuff to make custom fertilizer and doesn’t take as long as making compost fertilizer.

It looks pretty decent overall, especially since it’s pushing a lot of fresh growth after being cut back, but jalapeños really want a ton of light to fruit well. For peppers, the bigger question isn’t pot size so much as light and energy, so if you want more jalapeños I’d get it into your sunniest window or under a grow light!
