Old Westbury Gardens reopened for the 2026 season.

Old Westbury Gardens opens its 2026 season Wednesday, April 1 ,with a wide-ranging slate of concerts, exhibitions and educational programming designed for visitors of all ages.
The historic Long Island estate will run its regular season through Oct. 31, with additional select weekend openings planned for November and December. Grounds are open daily except Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
“We’re pleased to welcome visitors back for a new season at Old Westbury Gardens,” said Maura Brush, president and CEO of the organization. “After a colder winter, the Gardens are beginning to show the first signs of spring, with early blooms just emerging and the landscape developing more slowly than in recent years.”
A centerpiece of the 2026 lineup is Nature Connects® Made with LEGO® Bricks, an outdoor exhibition by Sean Kenney featuring 17 large-scale sculptures constructed from more than 300,000 LEGO pieces.
The exhibition opens May 15 for members and May 16 for the general public, accompanied by themed events and programming for families and adults.
The season also brings back several popular annual traditions, including the Poetica Musica concert series, which features internationally recognized musicians performing inside the estate’s historic Westbury House.
The Regency Romance Weekend, scheduled for early May, invites guests to dress in period attire and experience life inspired by the early 19th century.
Other signature events include the Antique Auto Show and Midsummer Nights in June, as well as the Long Island Celtic Festival and Highland Games in August. Organizers say additional cultural events, concerts and seasonal programs will continue throughout the fall.
Educational programming remains a key focus, with children’s offerings such as Tiny Gardeners and Seasonal Sprouts launching in April, followed by summer camps beginning in mid-July. Adult visitors can participate in Seasonal Sips painting sessions and workshops in embroidery, sketching and watercolor.
General admission is $22, with discounted rates for seniors, students and children. Admission is free for children age 6 and under. Some special events may require separate tickets.
