I’ve searched high and low and still am not able to narrow down what this plant I got off marketplace (for free 🥳) is. It looks like it’s struggling, the leaves are dropping like crazy, and I just want to help it thrive.

It’s on a pretty well indirectly lit plant shelf with a low grow light on it 6 hours a day. I’m seeing stringy stonecrop from plant identifiers, but I’m not sure that’s right. The leaves are also very sticky.

Thanks in advance!

  1. Very very extremely etiolated something or other. Etiolation, especially to this extent, makes it difficult to provide an accurate ID. Once it’s acclimated to proper lighting and has compact, healthy growth and species specific characteristics, it should be much easier to ID.

My guess is perhaps an etoliated jade? Maybe the “trailing” type.

There also looks to be some webbing/strings on the plant. That plus sticky gives concern to pests.
