Seeing pics of people’s trillium has me really missing my forest backyard in northern Michigan. Absurd amounts of trillium, trout lilies, and violets! Lucky to have cared for this land for a few years and it definitely inspired my love for native plants in my new state!

Stunning! I hope whomever lives there now also appreciates and protects them.
My family woods in Southern Michigan was infested with garlic mustard in the early aughts. My brother’s and I spent three early springs clearing it out before it went to seed.
A bunch of trilliums like these sprouted up in their place!
Wow I would miss that too
