Paint on plant??


Hi everyone, I got this beauty as a gift but I noticed that is painted with red colour..tried to wash it – nothing. Will this paint eventually go away? Worried that it will just do a harm to plant 🥺

    Can the paint be peeled? Oh man, it breaks my heart to see such a beautiful plant be painted on 😭

    I’m afraid not :/ this is a horrendous new trend, another person in this sub had good results using q tips and warm water to scrub it away.

    The paint probably won’t go, but new leaves grow fast and it will be ok, just give it ut as much lught as possible.

    You can try removing it with rubbing alcohol and a q-tip. They seem to be selling them like this more and more lately…

    let it get a bunch of sunlight too, the uv rays might degrade the paint a bit more, hopefully new leaves will come out of the center and it will heal

    Get a echavaria rubin it basically has that coloring naturally
