I saw cuttings from this plant for sale on Etsy and I was wondering if anyone has seen an actual plant with this much pink?

It sets off ai vibes to me because the most pink I have ever seen is more like the second image

I’m pretty sure that’s not real…but idk. I would do some research.

Reminds me of the dude who scammed people into buying a “printed paper of a ps4” and clearly stated it in the caption and description. Someone still fell for it. 500$ 😂

If you reverse search these pics I’m pretty sure they’ve been floating around as scam sales for years

Nope, it’s a scam! I’m an artist though and I make custom pink variegated Monstera t-shirts!

This is why I will never buy from Etsy. You never know whats real and what’s AI. Who’s really selling legit plants or who’s trying to scam you.

If I watered my Monstera with red food colouring though 🤔 Does anyone else remember doing that experiment with white flowers back in school?

    Monstera cannot get pink variegation

No that looks like it’s AI, plastic, or painted.

It’s not real. Want to know how I know?

Because if it was, I’d have 60 by now.

Glad to see that we’re growing. The last person I saw posting these pictures insisted, despite all the science explained, that they will still buy it, just in case.

Not real but pink princess philodendrons look pretty similar if you want something like that

  12. I bought seeds for these, they were olive pits, lol.

Monstera do not contain the anthocyanins (red, blue or purple pigments) to appear pink
