I’m in Sweden and bought a house that had a greenhouse so coming into spring slowly, I am excited about my first growing season with a proper, though little, green house.

The raised beds were still there and still have some life in them yet so I built the one to the left. I then found a mom and pop operation that were selling out their inventory of paving stone since they have recently retired. I didn’t want to rent a trailer so I went twice and filled up the trunk with as much as the car could take.

Today I made the floor with some help of my wife’s guest from the Ivory Coast who was visiting for a conference for archivists. Not as nice as some people’s set ups in this sub but it cost me around 100$ and I learnt some French curse words.

I will be growing West African chili varieties, tomatoes, grapes, cucumber and gem squash.
